Pastor Tim Maynard

     Tim grew up in Upstate NY at the southern tip of the Adirondacks.  After finishing high school he went on to receive a Bachelors degree in Psychology at Eastern Nazarene College, in Quincy, MA and continues to study through the Upstate Church of the Nazarene District School of Ministry.

     Tim entered full time ministry in 1997, taking the position as Pastor of Youth and Christian Education at Baltimore First Church of the Nazarene (now Crossroads Church of the Nazarene) in Ellicott City, MD.  He then served at the South Portland Church of the Nazarene in Maine as both Youth and Worship Pastor.   From there he served in the same capacity at Asheville First Church of the Nazarene in Asheville, NC and as the Administrative Pastor at Tidewater Church of the Nazarene in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  Pastor Tim has been serving as the Senior Pastor of Horseheads Grace Church of the Nazarene since October 31, 2005 and during that time the church has seen steady growth.

     Tim has been married to Ellen for 20 years, and they have 3 children, Chelsie, Michael and Bethany.  Ellen works outside the home as a substitute teacher as well as a seamstress at a local business.

Pastor Meggan Nugent

     Meggan was born and raised in Elmira, NY.  As a teenager, she felt a call to ministry and began to pursue her call by attending Eastern Nazarene College where she received her BA in Religion and Youth Ministry. She felt challenged to take her call to ministry a step further by attending Nazarene Theological Seminary where she graduated with a Masters of Divinity and a diploma in Youth Ministry.

     Meggan has a wonderful family! Her husband Adam of 8 years is devoted to developing his own business in Graphic Design and I passionate about investing in young lives at a behavioral home for boys. Meggan’s son, Mason, was born on March 24, 2006. He already loves to play the drums and play with his trains.

     Meggan has served as a volunteer youth worker from 1997-2003, and then served as an Associate Pastor at Christ Community Church, a Church of the Nazarene. Meggan is passionate about seeing young people come to know Jesus. She has the unique opportunity of being bi-vocational as she works as a Teacher’s Assistant at Horseheads Intermediate School, and as an Associate Pastor at Grace Church. Additionally, Meggan is a free-lance writer for Credo Magazine.

     In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and scrap- booking.
